 By using experimental process of making a lumen print I attempt to provoke conversation while also raising the awareness of oppressive behavior that is still pertinent today. While the titles represent the behavior, the abstract images are meant to metaphorically convey the emotional complexity and nuances that come along with systematic oppression. This dichotomy between a lovely aesthetic paired with these statements with malice undertones inspired this body of work: Strange Fruit.
